Mitch – Mitch Glaser (Ph.D., Fuller Theological Seminary) is the President of Chosen People Ministries. He speaks and writes widely on Jewish evangelism and Messianic Judaism. He is co-editor with Darrell Bock of four academic volumes published by Kregel Publications and has authored numerous books and articles.
Darrell – Darrell Bock (Ph.D., University of Aberdeen, Scotland) is the Executive Director for Cultural Engagement at the Hendricks Center and Senior Research Professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He has authored or edited over 40 books in theological and cultural areas, including many tied to NT studies, Israel and reconciliation.
Akiva – Akiva Cohen, (Ph.D. Tel Aviv University) is the director of the Matsliakh Young Israeli Leaders Program: An intensive equipping program for post-army age University-bound Israelis.
Akiva has taught at Israel College of the Bible, Jerusalem University College, The Feinberg Center for Jewish Studies/Talbot Seminary, and Ben Gurion University.
Akiva’s revised dissertation, Matthew’s Gospel and the Mishnah: Redefining Religious Identity and Ethos in the Shadow of the Second Temple’s Destruction will be published by Mohr Siebeck this Fall.
Akiva’s vision is to see the next generation of Israeli Jews and Arabs become effective agents of cultural change for Yeshua’s glorly.
Akiva is happily married to his wife Susan. They have two sons: Yishai, who is a doctoral philosophy student at Syracuse University and Elad.
Russ – Russ Resnik encountered Yeshua as Messiah in the early 70s as a young radical in the mountains of northern New Mexico. Later, he was drawn into the Messianic Jewish movement and founded Adat Yeshua, a Messianic congregation in Albuquerque, NM, which he led for nearly 20 years.
Today, he serves as Rabbinic Counsel for the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (UMJC), an association dedicated to uniting and strengthening congregations for Yeshua within the wider Jewish community.
Russ is ordained as a rabbi through the UMJC and also maintains credentials as a clinical mental health counselor. He has an international speaking and teaching ministry, contributes regularly to Messianic Jewish publications, serves as editor of Kesher: A Journal of Messianic Judaism, and is the author of five books including his most recent, A Life of Favor: A Family Therapist Examines the Life of Joseph and His Brothers.
Russ and his wife Jane live in Albuquerque and have four children and seven grandchildren.
David Sedaca – David Sedaca was born in Montevideo, Uruguay where his parents were missionaries. He is a second-generation Jewish believer in Jesus and currently serves as Vice President of Chosen People Ministries. David received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Harvard University and went on to study Judaism at the graduate level in New York and abroad. David has over thirty years experience in ministry as both an evangelical pastor and a messianic rabbi. His lectures at various prestigious universities in the United States and in Israel have been translated into Russian and Hebrew. His articles are published in different theological journals and Christian magazines around the world. He and his wife, Julia, presently live in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They have four children and nine grandchildren.
Michael Wolf – Michael Wolf graduated magna cum laude from Temple University in 1976, He has been the rabbi of Beth Messiah Synagogue in Cincinnati for the last forty-two years. He is on the executive committee of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, and has worked with Messianic leaders throughout the Midwest and beyond. In addition to his ministry related activities, Wolf is a writer of books, plays, and screenplays. His first novel, The Upper Zoo, published in 2012 by Destiny Image, rose to number three across all genres at Amazon.com.
In addition, he wrote and directed the film The Sound of the Spirit–also released in 2012–which consistently hovers around 8.0 on the Internet Movie Database, and has been shown several times on various television networks around the world. It’s also an Amazon Prime streaming movie. His second novel, The Linotype Operator, is published by Finishing Line Press, and was released in June of 2016. New York Times number one and Oprah selection author Jacqueline Mitchard has written about The Linotype Operator, “It enchanted me in a way I’ve been enchanted by only a handful of stories over the last ten years.
